What is JAPAN DRUM STAGE in KYOTO “MIYABI”?

“MIYABI” is a non-verbal live show centered on taiko drums, presented by Japanese Drums Entertainment EN.

Drums you feel in your body, the powerful movement of the performers, the shinobue flute and other Japanese instruments, and lighting that transforms the stage.

Honoring the timeless power of Japanese taiko while blending it with modern staging, this 45-minute show can be enjoyed beyond language and culture.

The stage is Hulic Hall Kyoto in Kawaramachi.
With around 200 seats, you can feel every vibration — even the breath of the performers — up close.

As a regular show for visitors from Japan and around the world, we carry tradition forward and share the new possibilities of taiko from Kyoto to the world.
